Better late than never...

I think I said the last time I was here that I was going to have a birthday giveaway that I would post 11/15 and pick a winner on 11/20. Well...since my camera decided to go crazy on me, I have been having some serious issues trying to take pictures with it. That, and I was just running late as usual.

But, on to the fun stuff! Since yesterday was my birthday I am starting today a belated birthday blogger giveaway. I thought about using bonanza, but that really would be putting too much importance on this. My pictures are still not great, but at least they are not as blurry as they had been. Here is a tacky picture of the entire mess. Included are three Christmas ornament kits, a Mill Hill Christmas kit, a little Mary Engelbrite Christmas Wreath kit.

Also, there are a number of charts that I either received in other giveaways or gift packages or goodie bags that I don't see me ever doing. Some are ones that I have done and therefore don't need to do again. There are also two pieces of linen that I won in a giveaway that I can't use since I can't seem to stitch on linen. Tried just didn't work. So, if you are interested in winning this package of goodies all you need to do is leave a comment on this post only, and next Friday, December 2, I will draw a winner and send the goodies off. If you want to post about this giveaway on your blog, please go ahead. And, this time, I will ship this anywhere you are if you win!!

Now I have one more picture to show you, and this is one of the best reasons why I am late with this giveaway. This weekend my DD Lisa and my DGD Lily came down to our house and we started baking Christmas cookies. This is the second year that we have been the "Three Generations of Bakers". And, I can not tell you how much I love this. Nothing is better, not even stitching. OOPS was that blasphemus??? And this year I have lots more hair and Lily is a whole lot taller!!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and I really do appreciate all of your wonderful comments!!

Hope you win, and until next week, have a happy, healthy, stitchy time!!

Hi Beth! It was great meeting you at PALS! Great bunch of people! Lots of talent too! Last Christmas eve, I had planned to do baking with my granddaughters and had everything all planned. Unfortunately I became very ill and ended up in the ER for most of the day! So, the kids tried doing the cookies themselves! It was not such a pretty picture! The smoke from the oven lingered for days! Ha! I would like to be entered in your giveaway. Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving!

What a lovely tradition you have started with your DD and DGD. My 3 year old DS has been helping with the baking for the last couple holidays and it's been a lot of fun so far though a little messier than normal:) Glad to hear you had a great time with your family!

Your stitching goodies are awesome. My husband started baking Christmas cookies last night --- Gingerbread men. And I decorated them. I love the holidays. Glad you had fun with your baking time too.
