Wow! Christmas is coming - QUICKLY!!

Is anybody out there as mildly panicked as I am about getting everything done before Christmas? For a little while I think I have everything under control, and then I remember a whole other set of things to be done, and off I go into panicdom - if that is a word.

I do have a wonderful thing to show you that the nice mailman brought me Friday - I was in a Secret Santa group with the PALS, and I got my wonderful package from Shelleen of Queen Stitcher. Just look at all the goodies I have to play with now. I told Shelleen that I am going to have to find a glass frog for my growing collection of scissors and fobs. That will be a fun excursion!! I haven't decided yet what I am going to do with the fabric and floss, but I am sure something will come to me - hehehehe!

DH almost threw me into total panic yesterday, but I said it was impossible, and he believed me - whew. You see, after a long time of seeing puppy dog eyes on DH everytime we saw a big screen flat panel tv, I finally told him to figure out which one he wanted for Christmas. After weeks, of research and way too much of my time in "shopping" we finally brought home his new toy. When I asked him where is was going to put if for now, he said that he thought we should unload our whole family room, paint and replace the carpets, and put it all back together by Christmas. After a moment to put my eyes back into my head, I said ain't no way. So, for now, he has figured out what to do with it until after Christmas at which time we will tackle the project. He said he was amazed that I wouldn't jump at the chance to do that, but I think he was kidding. At least, that is what saved him for last night - LOL

Well, I hope everyone is getting along fine with their Christmas, and I hope you all have a bleseed holiday season. Thanks for stopping by my blog, and I do so appreciate all the great comments you leave. Until next time, have a happy, healthy, stitchy holiday time!!

Nice gifts from your Secret Santa, Beth. That must have been fun to participate...

Isn't it funny how husbands figure we have time to do "extras" at this time of year!! You'll have quite a nice project to tackle after Christmas :)

Very nice exchange you received.

Yes the panic has set in. I just try to breath and make a list of the things I have to do. Hope you can get it all done.

Lovely exchange you received. I can't believe your husband suggested such a huge project right before Christmas! But its nice to know you have it lined up for after. Even though I'm not a guy, I have to admit I love my big LCD TV.

Wonderful gift from your secret santa!

LOL at your husband's comment about redoing the room to accomodate his new toy! I don't think they realize all that goes into making Christmas happen each year. That will be a fun thing to get to do after the holidays, though!
