Okay, I know I have been bad!!

Hello everyone in blogland... I have been MIA forever, and I hope to turn over a new leaf. The holidays are always killers for me - too much to do too little time. But, they are passed, and maybe I can get back on the wagon.

I really don't have much to share with you at this time. I haven't taken time to stitch much more than blog. I do have one thing to share with you that I am really thrilled about. Before MB, I had finished stitching all the squares to my Lizzie*Kate Monthly stamps, and I had tried to make it into a wall hanging. It didn't work, but I had a plan. I took it to MB with me and begged for help. And, of course, I got it - at MB? Could there be any question? Well, anyhow, the biggest help came from Patti. She told me that she had her finishing work done by someone in Louisville, and that she would get me her name and email address. WHOOO HOOO!! Well, she did send me that address, and I contacted the lady, and she said that she could help me, and BOY DID SHE!! I know this isn't a very good picture, but you probably can get an idea about it.

I have started back doing some stitching. I am hoping to finish the Lizzie*Kate "Christmas is Forever" sampler before the end of the month. I am not sure what I will work on after that.

On the family front, my DS#2, Matt, got engaged in November, and they are planning a wedding in June of 2011. Amber, DS#2's fiance had a birthday this month, and I knitted her a scarf which she seemed to really like. Both my grandkids have been growing very fast, and you can see that by the updated photos on my sidebar.

Nothing much else, but I am looking forward to keeping up better with all my blog reading and commenting. I know I have to do better than I have!

I remember the day we picked out the fabric for that wall hanging. She did an awesome job. I think your grandson looks like you.

Your wallhanging turned out gorgeous! I love it! I might have to get her name from you for future "sewing" projects of mine, that's pretty much the only finishing i don't do, if it requires a sewing machine. :)

Do you think that woman would mind if you shared her contact information with me? I've stitched those same blocks and would like someone to quilt them for me too!
